Silicone Soap Molds
Silicone soap mold is used in the production of soap handicrafts and handmade soaps. It has many excellent characteristics, such as good demold properties, good flexibility, durability, non-deformation, good quality of reproduction. It's widely used in soap handicraft industry.
Features of silicone soap molds
- Good elasticity, good demold properties, very suitable for fine patterns and soft soap handcrafts.
- High temperature resistance, high tensile strength, high flexibility, suitable for copying soap crafts, soap modeling realistic, with high success rate, do not change the element of soap.
- Soap mold production process is simple, after molding and curing, silicone soap mold was translucent or white opaque.

Making Process for Simple Handmade Soap
- Cut the soap base into small pieces and put it into a pot, then put the whole pot over another bigger pot with boiling water, keep low heat. When soap base is melted, remove from boiling water, stir soap liquid with a silicone scraper slowly.
- Add base oil (olive oil, colorless jojoba oil, avocado oil and sweet almond oil, 0.5ml each), still slowly stir soap liquid with a silicone spatula.
- Test PH value: Normally the PH test paper color should be green, and PH value is 7-9. If a lower pH value is desired, add a quarter of a piece of vitamin C dissolving in water (<2ml).
- Pour the soap liquid into silicone soap molds through a counting cup, use the silicone scraper to modify the surface, gently shake the soap mold up and down for about 5 to 10 times to help the bubble discharged.
- After a period of time, handmade soaps become freezing, strip from silicone soap
